Just wanted to see how many peeps on here have moved their fuse box and where you moved it to.

Although I'm looking for a replacement ignition/fuse box bracket, It is not currently possible to mount the fuse box in its original location.

So how about it people? Where is your fuse box?

I suppose it would be prudent to mention that I have moved the battery and removed the air box so mounting there is not an option for me.

Good friends, good drinks, good times.

I think i might have to buy a whole new battery tray with the bracket still attached to it then cut it up the proper way this time.

Good friends, good drinks, good times.

Easiest way to do it is with "in-line" fuses.....no fuse box to relocate that way.....

OR of course, and in order to get that classic Lucas Electrical thing goin' on with your bike, you COULD just dispense with the fuse box ENTIRELY...and then eventually later on when the smoke "escapes" from the wires, just tell everyone you were goin' for a real "old school" feel on your modern Triumph!

(...in fact, I know a certain Luddite located in NE Pennsylvania who'll probably think you'd be one bad ass dude for tryin' this...ain't that right, Ian?!)

Were you born an a$$ or did you have to practice all this time to become one?

Always nice to know you're consistent, Ian ol' boy. "Consistent", as in consistently being unable to take in stride a lighthearted joke directed your way, that is.

(...yep, you really HAVEN'T changed all that much since I first started kiddin' ya over twelve years ago around here, have ya?!...in fact, and I COULD be wrong here, but I THINK you've actually gotten WORSE in this regard over the years...what a shame...what a shame)

Worse, Dwight? Worse?? No not worse... you're just consistently narcissistic ash. It's all about you, and nothing about the worth of the other guy. I know you're just trying to be funny but you're not, because it's always at the expense of someone else (especially Ian and myself) You're not funny Mr. wannabe Alpha dog... you're pathetic. And guess what? Yup, here it comes... a predictable onslaught of member slashing with nothing to do with the tread's original intent, and everything to do with YOUR ego. Lay it on me... I have broad shoulders and lung capacity to take it all in.

To other members... sorry I had to get personal here with Mr. Dwight but I'll defend good members like Ian to the end if that's what it takes.

Well, well, well. What a surprise?! If it isn't "Kumbaya Keith" to Ian's "rescue" here???!!!

(...btw "K.K."...did it ever cross your mind that IF Ian would have taken my little joke in stride, and one ACTUALLY meant more of a jibe at MR. JOE LUCAS, that MAYBE this little "sidetracking" of mine in this thread (AND something I might remind you that I SELDOM if EVER do in these "Tech" threads around here) MIGHT have ended RIGHT THERE???...and ESPECIALLY because it THEN wouldn't have gotten YOUR little "ire" up in this thing???...naah, probably didn't think of THAT either, now did ya???)

(...btw again..."wannabe Alpha dog"???...LOL...now THAT'S a new one, alright...what Keith?..been readin' those psychology books again or somethin'???)

Btw Keith and Ian...here's ya a little suggestion:

Why don't both of you, seeing as how you BOTH seem to have such thin skins, place me on your ignore function.

(...see how easy that little solution is to these little "offenses" of mine?)

Predictably an "ash worthy" response. While most everyone here is trying to obtain technical support, or exchange ideas, or develop friendships with fellow Triumph riders... you do your best to disrupt the flow with egocentric comments toward loyal and long-term contributors such as myself, Ian, Larry and others. Socially your comments contribute little to the community yet technically your contributions have been somewhat noteworthy. I know you enjoy "bashing" members but safe to say there are other forums out there more suited for such cyber-behavior, while here most members care most about the bike they ride and the camaraderie amongst us. I hope this thread gets back to it's original intent, rather than become a platform for further childish bantering. What say ye, Mr. Dwight? As a man who over-nighted at my humble abode, and was privy to a wee nip of specially selected Scotch for the occasion, what say ye drop the cyber-axe and indulge in a truer form of cyber exchange... that being for the betterment of all considered? And now, between us let's end this by returning to the original intent of this tread. Shake hands?

"Childish"??? How exactly?

(...oh never mind...and sorry Stewart...I didn't mean to get those two all fired up and REALLY sidetrack your thread here...nope, must have forgotten how thin skinned those two are...my mistake)

Jesus that escalated quickly....

I wired mine under the tank. But mine is completely rewired and its kind of a temporary setup.. If I remember there's not much slack there, options are limited.

The valid point Keith is making , and I do not see that as coming to my rescue as I need no rescuing, you need not make jokes at the expense of others all the time. I used to laugh at it but it got tiresome and annoying after a while. I hate to break this to you but it is not just Keith and myself that think so. I have messaged with others in private about it ,and before you go there, those conversations were not initiated by me. Keith and I just tell you in the public forum rather than keep it to ourselves. You seem to think it's funny to try and talk down to others or insult a members intelligence or logic and it is not when done over and over. There is also a difference between a good natured little quip here and there and what you often do.
I apologize to the member who started this thread as this has nothing to do with the subject or natural progression of the conversation but I feel it needed to be said. It is not our thin skins at all, it is you who should have refrained from the comment that started it.

Ian, I appreciate this second more reasoned and rational reply of yours to me here.

(...and now back to the issue of fuse boxes)
