That's too bad. They've got some good prices on 2014's. $7200 on a America LT. That's about $2,000 off MSRP. At least around here whenever a dealer closes another one opens, eventually.

Never been to Myers, but I feel your pain. The triumph dealer I bought from in 2006 closed within a year. The megacycle dealer that eventually picked up Triumph has no soul. Not bad people, but their heart just isn't in it the same way.

And mine quit recently too and I was talking to owner about it and he was telling me about how Triumph is very hard to do buisness with. All the hoops , gotta haves, and the inventory they force on you ? He said he just couldn't take it anymore. He has been dealer for Triumph, BMW, Ducati and now with Triumph gone he is into KTM ... WTF ?? We have arrow straight rds here no woods to play in off rd and he decides to deal crotch rockets and dirt bikes?? I don't know?? I hate the fact that now when someone sez where can I get one I have to tell them 100 mi up the rd

Sad news indeed. Hard for small Mom and Pops to compete with the mega do all stores. I have found that the personal interaction and customer service is usually better at the smaller shops.

The local dealer [50 miles away]stopped carrying Triumph although I think he still does spares.I was told that because he's the Harley dealer too, was told by Harley he couldn't be dealer for both, so he chose Harley.I don't know how true that is, but anyway, the nearest dealer now is 100 miles away.

Myers is noy my local dealer as they are two hours from me. However I've been in their shop a few times and really liked the guys.
We've had three Triumph dealers go belly up in my area over the last ten years. Currently a local Honda dealer picked up Triumph two years ago. They are a Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki Harley, Indian, Triumph, Victory Polaris dealer and seem to be all in on all lines.

They're creating what's know locally as Handle Bar Highway with three separate buildings side by side separated by parking. Honda, Yamaha , Suzuki will be in one building. Triumph , Indian, Victory in one building and Harley in one building. Currently they are in the process of building a new smaller HD dealership. Once that is completed the metric bikes with be in the old larger HD building. If you cant find something you like in this three block area you've got issues

Maybe their long term goal is another dealership with Ducati, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, KTM, Royal Enfield..etc....hahahaha

It's great concept and I wish them success. 10 min ride from my house.

I don't know where they all are, Triumphs I mean. I saw very few at Sturgis last year. I have two dealers within an hour to me and really don't see them doing a land slide business. BMW is the base business for them.

I think I saw more of our bikes out and about 2009 or so than I do now.

And yet Triumph Inc. continues to grow and produce more bikes every year. Maybe it's that global economy thing.

Called Triumph a euro bike to a Brit I ran across while ridding my Trophy through Northern New Mexico and he lost all composure , pointing out to me it was not euro but Brittish... he then made a snide comment on HD's and I pointed out to him what I was ridding.

Yeah, the Brits are like that, alright!

(...BUT as long as they continue to spell certain words with that dumb superfluous-u, an unfortunate trait they acquired from the Normandy French eons ago and which they've never seemed able to break themselves of doing, and France IS on the European continent ya know, they'll have NO legitimate reason to feel this way!!!)

Here is the link that Triumph is outselling BMW. Looks like the Canadians are buying a lot of Triumph. Link

I for one am hoping for at least one more dealer in Edmonton, we have one small one, very clicky, on a terible part of town for most in the city, and have been known to be a bit difficult to deal with from time to time, very little investment goes back into the buildings etc, nearest competition is 350 klms away, but more importantly we need more sources of mechanics with triumph experieience. And Canada seems to have had a huge increase in the "hipsters" crowd, maybe why more Bonnie's are selling.

An HD dealer in upstate north NY was bought up by a car dealer who also owned...a Honda store. Now you have a Harley dealer with a Honda sign too. Yeah, mixed reviews and another sign of the apocalypse.
