I hate to say it but you might as well chalk up a win for Pittsburgh. They're already 1-0, the game is just a formality. I'm just hoping for a fast season, someone else knocks the Steelers out and all those fans shut up. <g>

Miami hasn't actually had a team since Morono left. Heck, it should be an easy romp for the Steelers:-) I just hope it's a home game for Pittsburgh, probably won't be worth it for them to travel to Miami.

Wendell, the Steelers do not traditionally excel in their season opening games, but this year it'll be a Steelers home game thanks to the fact that they're Defending SuperBowl Champs and current NFL darlings - which does not bode well for your Dolphins. That means a raucous home crowd that will be loud and proud through the whole game. Dante will be running for his life (IF he can still run) because R.Brown. will be stuffed for next to NO yards and Chambers will be double covered with no #2 or #3 receivers as an alternative and Culpepper will have to dump off to McMichael who will get popped repeatedly until he's seeing stars and wanting to go home. Steelers win going away and Miami is quickly forced to look at the reality of being a second-tier AFC team who will be VERY happy to make the playoffs. p.s. Next time just use Steelers, it's harder to misspell. Oh and BTW it's ALWAYS Steelers with an s, there is no singular (ie. "steeler fans" should be Steelers fans).

With the NFL draft coming up, and the moves Sabin has been making, I am so lookng forward to a season I wont have to make excusses for. That and I am not a baseball fan (GASP) I know, what can I say.
As to everyone else, don't think of the Dolphins in context of the last 6 or 7 seasons, we havn't had a good coach since Shula retiered, until now! We are going to be back in the forefront of the AFC, and hopefully the Playoffs and beyond.
And, as far as the steelers go, well, who's left from last season??? We will come into your house and KICK your but!!

Well it's not like we play a game on this side of the pond that takes breaks for lunch and afternoon tea. Cricket, now there's a sport that's made for the girls. If you think baseball players wear too much armor when they step up to the plate, you ought to get a look at what Cricket players wear when they bat. They're dressed like a hockey goalie. And speaking of hockey...I'm surfing the channels the other day and come across the Commonwealth games. I didn't realize that the men play field hockey in countries that still bow to the Queen. At least they had the decency not to wear skirts.
And even being a soccer fan myself, I still find it distasteful that the divers in that sport go unpunished...which is a hot topic in the press these days. And even if somebody does touch them, they roll around on the pitch in pseudo agony like they've just been shot by a sniper in the stands, then 2 minutes later they're running up and down the pitch in the fittest form of health. Oh sure we have the Colorado Dive-Alanche in the NHL, but they don't act like they're auditioning for a part in Saving Private Ryan.
I noticed in today's news that the NFL owners are attempting to curb TD celebrations by penalizing teams 15 yards on the ensuing kickoff. If they had the same kind of celebrations after a home run in baseball, they'd get one in the ear next time they came up to bat.
