Do you mean plexus the plastic polish? If you do i highly recommend it . it works great on any plastic and visors too, even regular glasses, if it's good enough for F-16 canopies then it's good enough for me.

I use that Plexis stuff on my glasses too, it does work good. But I think Keith is talking about a recently new, personal media management service, but only Keith can elaborate on which one.

I'm old school.

I have trouble getting used to a "one size fits all" kind of software. I know it's convenient, but it lacks functionalities that dedicated apps have.

I prefer to have separate apps for my music and movie watching.

I forgot if you are on Mac or PC.

For Mac, the absolute best music player, IMHO, is Audirvana. For PC, Foobar is well recognized.

For video, VLC plays anything. Both Mac and PC. I set up my computer so I can use a VST on my audio feed to get the best sound.

JRiver, on the PC side is popular, but I find it very clunky, and the sound is good, but not great. You absolutely need an audio interface to get the best results.

Yup, that's it. Having a hard time wrapping my head around what exactly it is supposed to do. They have a subscription fee for more features I think. I haven't paid up for anything so don't really know what it's all about.

I love my plex setup. Serve's up movies and tv to any device, anywhere, even to the kids scattered around the country. I record over-the-air TV and have our movie collection stored on disk.

Paid version lets you have the anything, anywhere capability.

Sorry, Jeff. "Audirvana"??? "Foobar"??? "JRiver"???

Look dude! IF you were TRULY "old school", then you'd be just like ME and STILL listenin' to your favorite tunes like I DO...over the freakin' FM RADIO!!!

(...okay, okay...is there such a thing as "ancient school"???)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

AM radio.

So true!

I guess I meant old school in computer age!
I hate those can do it all apps out there.

It's like using one of those multitools. They work ok, but not as well as a real screwdriver or a real hammer!

AM radio.

Nah, Chad. Haven't listened to AM radio for years now.

(...and since it all turned into a bunch of stations that either broadcast in Spanish and/or where all the paranoid blowhards spout their opinions about stuff...uh-huh, kind'a like the stuff that's in a certain forum around HERE now days!!!)

Hey Dwight Old Boy, how are you doing man? I listen to a lot of AM, all of it online feeds, I avoid the R/L partisan stuff with a passion, although I will admit to watching FOX news/entertainment occasionally to see how short of skirts/plunging necklines the women have on. They seem to have adopted a more demure, almost Quakerish costume of late-bummer.

.........back to your regularly scheduled Plex programme-sorry Keith

Doin' great here in Sedona, John. Thanks for asking.

Got me a little part-time gig now days drivin' a shuttle a couple days a week from Sedona/Cottonwood down to that concrete jungle of Phoenix Arizona...otherwise known as "The urban sprawl of Los Angeles but withOUT a beach and with the city's 'thermostat' cranked up 25 freakin' degrees higher than L.A's during the summer months". Nope, just don't 'get' the draw of Phoenix at all.

(...hope everything goin' well for ya up there in MT...you back on the bike yet?)

I'm a "work in progress" Dwight. Following the new hip (7/13), everything was looking good, then pinched nerve root/disc issues came out of the blue. A year and two additional (microdiscectomy) surgeries later and I hope to be on the road to recovery. Neurosurgeon & staff all say to be patient. I should have listened when my folks said I was getting on their nerves. Weakness is the deal now.

I, or actually Friar John, have the Voyager kit installed on the 07 Speedmaster residing in the garage. I talked to a Harley guy with an identical setup along the roadside coming back from Nelson last July. I asked if he experienced handlebar vibration, he said yes, but then pointed out steering dampeners that solved that issue. OR better idea swap it out for a Cozy car side hack setup. I think all things equal, a side car would fit just fine on this Triumph. But that's all at some point in the future.
