Cleaning the ride yesterday and man the front of my headers are dirtier then a Tijuana ******. How do you all clean your headers and keep them looking good. I know ill get a little blueing just worried about the road grime.

Pull them and put them in a padded vise, way easier to polish them back to shiny town.

Be very careful with abrasive cleaners, the chrome on the headers is very thin and you can take it off. Blue Away is pretty good but it is abrasive.

Im thinking something like an SOS pad would work. Like i said im most worried about road grime etc. I usually just juse the spray polish and a rag to clean the bike so nothing using anything too harsh.

SOS pads will destroy your Chrome as well as cause them to rust.Use this instead, I'm sure it 's in your budget web page

I find the 0000 super fine steel wool works well to clean headers without compromising the chrome.
