Do i need any additional parts for doing the O2 sensor removal or just the plugs and turning them off in the tune?

I used 2 bolts to block off the sensor bungs in the headers. Same thread as the air injection ports. Disconnected the sensor wires from the sockets under the tank/head stock area and taped them for some weather protection. Loaded a tune corrected for the O2 sensor removal. Done.

Which tune did you load? Other charateristics for that tune (pipes, intake)?

Marcellus, at the time I did away with the O2 sensors, my configuration was still close to stock. Had TOR mufflers, a UNI brand air filter and had pulled the snorkel. The only "custom" tune at the time (and still on the TuneECU site here http://www.tuneecu.com/Twin_Custom_Tune_list.html ) for similar set up was "20184dynoTuneSteveO2-Disable". This tune only applies to the early EFI models with mechanical speedo. I had loaded it and tested it before removing the oxygen sensors. The resulting low RPM/small throttle opening operation convinced me to remove the sensors. It made a big improvement in the snatchy throttle response many of us experienced when the EFI models came out. I have since made bigger changes that led to an actual custom dyno tune by an experienced tuner.
TTP now has tunes/fuel maps listed for basic mods that can be loaded to the ECU with the TuneECU program. Not sure if they are "for sale" yet but are listed on his site. Check here for more info, http://www.triumphtwinpower.com/america-speedmaster-efi-tunes.php

edit: I know I can be spelling challenged, thank goodness for for those red dots under misspelled words. But I do still sometimes end up with the wrong word spelled correctly!!!
