So it might sound dumb but whats the best oil to drop into an america havnt been payn to much notice but gotta big ride comin up and want to refresh it thanks. In queensland australia so hot and humid climate

Dunno what you have available down under. Full synthetic, and JASO rated is the way to go. Purolator Pure One, oil filter if you can get it.

OK now, everybody line, up! No pushing or shoving. Cmon now....I've always used the Mobil 1 that is reccomended, although I did switch to the 10-40 because the 20-50 was too hard to get. Usually used a Fram filter right off the shelf.

Mobil 1 4T (motorcycle oil) or Amsoil Motorcycle oil 20/50

LMAO, i was /am large amsoil fan but the last couple i used the Rotella T6 full synthetic , and it worked very well and its very well priced.

I switched over to Rotella T6 full synthetic as well, but can you get it in Australia?

Lucas synthetic. Because I like to burn my Money. I forgot my drain plug copper on the last oil change, one drip per hour, not to shabby haha

Amsoil 20/50 , I figure my engines worth the extra 15-20 skins over a cheaper product. Ya know about the cost of a good burger, fries and beer

I have used three of the most popular Amsoil, Mobil 1 4T and Rotella T6. Personally I have found that my bike shifts the best with Amsoil. I believe that if you change the oil and filter at the appropriate time it doesn't matter what you use.

I did see on my new genuine Triumph oil filter that it is made by Wix.


'06 America, Raask foot controls, the bike use to be Graphite and Silver, now its Red and Black.
