G'day All, looking forward to getting some good info and ideas from others on the site. I originally found this forum when looking for a Xmas pressie for the Beloved and her 2011 Speedy She's had it a bit over 2 years and put about 18000kms on it, loves it. I gotta admit I really enjoy riding it too but think the back shocks are a bit stiff apart from that it goes, handles, stops, sounds and looks excellent..and every opportunity I am allowed I enjoy getting out on it because it is just ... uncomplicated and pure fun. The essence of riding. My current ride is a bit hard to categorize as it doesn't fit the mold of a traditional air cooled, normally aspirated tractor... e.g. have done a 1000+kms (600+ miles) in a day ...but definitely wouldn't call it a tourer, water cooled and feet forward...but doesn't really like going slow in traffic ...so wouldn't call it a cruiser.... can do 0-100 mph(160kmh) in 7.5 sec, has 150+BHP at rear wheel with 98ftlb/Torque and can do sub 11 sec over the 1/4..but I wouldn't call it a sports bike.. so it is just my ride...and it's (mostly) fun. Of all the bikes that have been in my garage I'd say the Speedy is the best value for money bike.... :-) Cheers Coxy

Cool pictures! And you're obviously within your right to have the bike on that deck. After all, the sign doesn't say "no cycle riding!
