Just went downstairs to check mine and almost broke a tooth, not very tender. Opps sorry I'm dyslectic sometimes.

the best one is a "Battery Tender", that's the brand name. They come in a .75V that plugs right into the outlet like a transformer, and they be a 1.5V that have a cord that plug into the outlet like a food processor, it is a nicer one and the lessor be about 25.00 and the greater be about 40.00 and everybody got 'em, Ebay, et cetera.
oh, and they has red lights and green lights that tells you the status. mmmm
oh, and if you don't crank your bike at least once a week, keep it plugged in.
oh, i fo'got. they has some wiring that comes wif 'em two big alligator clips and a plug in jack that is the best, let it dangle under the bike

Not sure, but doesn't the new fangled Li-ion batteries have their own specific special charger? Great marketing ploy if they do.

Not sure about all of them but the EarthX I have works with any old charger.

The Deltran Battery Tender Plus (1.25 Amp) is more effective than the Deltran Battery Tender Jr. (0.75 Amp) , in my experience.

Agree with B02S4. I have the Jr. in my hauler, and at the Toy Storage where my 'fancy' bike stays in the winter (because it is heated); but the 2 Bank Tender Plus in my shed where both bikes live in the summer and my working bike overwinters. I plug them in as soon as I switch off, even if using the next day.

Both my Shorai (in the Tiger 1050) and the EarthX (America) can be charged with a "Battery Tender". Never use a desulfating type battery charger with a Lithium battery. The use of a battery charger with a lithium battery will be a rare occasion. These batteries discharge at maybe 4% a year.
I installed the EarthX Lithium battery in the America today. The bike hasn't been started in over 4.5 weeks (been gone on a very long business trip). Anyway, the bike started so fast I couldn't believe it. Never in all the time I have owned this bike has it started in less than 1 second.

I have a Schumacker bought for $25 at Wal Mart that I use on a bike I never ride and so far it works great. Never used one on my Speedy and that battery lasted 9 years in an unheated shed. I think with regular use on the battery the tender is a waste of money.
