where the riser nuts are , next to where the speedo bolts up , there are two bolt holes ... anyone know what size bolts,threads etc fit these? any help would be greatly appericated ... cheers

Almost all the fasteners on our bikes are 6,8 or 10 mm, disregarding the axles and a few odd others. Post a picture if possible, of the two holes in question and I'll go take a look see for you. IIRC, then maybe this will help, 6mm= .243" or just under a Qtr of an inch, 8mm=.321" close to +5/16ths" and 10mm=.401" or right between 3/8ths and 7/16ths".

I believe you are referring to the holes my wind screen top mount connects to. As already mentioned many bolt sizes are common. Can't tell you the size & thread pitch but it's the same size & pitch bolts as the rear peg hangers use.

6x1mm, 8x1mm, 10x1.25mm is standard, consider buying a metric tap and die set and you can use the taps to gently (on Aluminum) ascertain sizes ,along with thread pitch on blind holes. As well as chase out old Loc-tite compound and recon the threads on most of your bike.

awesome guys ... have been given a old square headlight which im whacking up a bracket and going to use those holes to mount it , makes life easy when ya can just ask on here and ya pointed in the general direction ... once again cheers
