I have read a few threads here about options for smaller storage, like fork bags and solo bags. I thought I would show my solution - I got this bag from BadGCustoms - it's a solo bag designed for a Harley Dyna model. I contacted Greg at BadGCustoms, and asked if anyone had bought this bag for a Triumph - he said he couldn't recall if anyone else had as the other purchases for Triumphs were for full saddlebags. He thought it would look good, though. So, I decided to order the bag, and in the mean time order a pair of Saddleman universal saddlebag brackets, using one of them to install this bag. I think it looks pretty good on my Speedie, and is big enough to carry what I need to carry (wallet, camera, etc) without being too big. So, in case anyone else has been considering this particular option, I think the bag works very well.

I have had my eye on a set of those Bad G bags for a while now. I was actually looking at the ones they make for the Honda VTX thinking that they may be a better fit for our bikes based on the length of our fender rails and that the VTX bags have the lower mounting strap to go around the bottom of the shock. Anyhow that looks great on your scoot, now I am going to have to get a set!

Thanks JD13- Greg at BadG said that he could move the bottom strap so that it could reach the bottom of the shock. I ended up tieing it to the bracket. Greg thought I wouldn't need to use a bracket, but I did it anyways since I liked the idea of giving the bag just a little bit of clearance from the wheel.

JD13, I just noticed the VTX bag on the BadG site, and it looks like it would work pretty well too. And you are right, the shock attachment might work real well with the Triumphs. Greg at BadG should be able to give you his thoughts on fit if you like that bag.
