Just bought an 08 America, price I couldn't turn down. Manufacture date is 10/07 but it has carbs. I thought 08 Americas were fuel injected. Did some of the early ones have carbs? Regardless I own it now. Have a few things to work through to get it suitable for me. Has gutted Bub pipes. Good grief the thing is loud. May have to find some other 'silencers'. Also need a clutch lever and mirror with stalk, etc. If you have some of these to part with at something less than retail parts prices let me know. Just thought of where i am posting this, please move it if it works better somewhere else. Apologies!

I thought it wasn't until '09 for fuel injection.

Ok. One place I looked said 08 and others said 09. Just didn't find the 09 answer til after I posted. Tiger can take it. Too much fun not to ride regularly.

Welcome back. I am sure that some members here may have some spare parts to help you out. There are many Triumph brothers willing to help out another brother.

I don't know where you can find them but I got hooker silencers on mine and its very quiet, but sounds good if you listen real close.

Nice Troy!

Fuel injection for Europe model year '08. For America, '09, although the '08 America bikes have the fatboy fuel tank...'07 American exports where the last speed-twin styled tanks.

Stephen's got a pair of stock pipes that I got for his TBA. I always thought the pipes on my red TBA sounded good with 2 baffles drilled out. If your interested I'll ask him if he wants to give them to you, Troy. He's got straight through D&D's on it now. I'm afraid of getting a ticket everytime I ride the thing.

Oh I almost forgot. He will have two stock mirrors also when he gets his adaptors for the mirrors he bought from FastEddy.
