Started out in the rain, didn't rain hard enough to make it exciting, didn't get cold or have trouble seeing. Did see one moped on the road, he did not wave back. Wanted to...

Ummm yeah. OT but speaking of weather and such I've been meaning to ask you Greg... Did summer go by any faster this year with that new Rocket of yours?
Live to love, love to live.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Sure did Keith. It was one of the wettest and coldest summers I can remember but still managed to put around 9000kms on the beast.
Talking about riding in the rain, this bike demands a subtle touch. I purposely upshift early when it's wet and even doing that, I almost lost it trying to gingerly accelerate in 2nd when the bike spun out on wet pavement. Kept my head after having the back end swing back and forth. You really have to watch you don't grab too much throttle especially in the turns.
Some pics of our last trip a couple of weeks ago. Timmins to the Watershed (1/2 way between Timmins and Sudbury). Then travelled east to Gowganda, Elk Lake, Mattachewan, Kirkland Lake, then back to Timmins.

I've done it. Have to slip the clutch a bit but it'll do it no problem.

Love the second photo, big grin checkin out your beautiful bike. Triumphs do that.
