I have an 03 America with just a tad over 28k miles. I used to get mileage in the upper 40's. Even close to 50mpg.... even last season. Now I am getting mid 30's on the highway. No lack of power or performance. Just sucking away the gas. Air Filter?? Spark Plugs?? All ideas welcome.

Thanks.

Sticky float? Lose a jet? Very dirty air filter or clogged intake? Enrichener not turning off?

Pull both plugs to see if one or both are black. That will give you a starting point. How easy is the bike to start? Have you done any mods to it....recently?

Cleaned the plugs. They looked fine but I figured, as long as I had them out, what the heck. Changed the air filter. And all is right with the world again!! Thanks all.
