Good morning!

Well, long TORs, UNI filter, crankcase breather, are on their way home, but I'm still struggling with main and pilot jets, since I don't know where to buy them nor which ones to buy!

Are these jets suitable for my '07 Speedmaster?

Thanks a lot!!!

If memory serves that does not look like the correct jet.

Any local Honda dealer will have the proper jets or easy access to them. You'll probably find that 42 pilots and 130 mains will be a good starting place for your current set up and you can tweak the mains from that baseline.

I've found these. http://www.comercialmartinez.com/index.h...amp;x=0&y=0
Do you know them?
What do you think?
Does anyone have a pic of any suitable jet for our carbs?
Thanks!

I would purchase my jets from this site. New Speedmaster They have main and pilot jets as well as shims. I purchased mine from them and they are the right ones.

When I had my ride equipped with long TORs, Uni filter, all snorkels removed and I enlarged the retainer that secured the filter, I ended up with 135 mains, 42 pilots and TBS needles. Before I switched the needles I used 2 shims under each of the stock needles.

You might want to purchase an assortment of main jets and some 45 pilots to test. I'm assuming your bike stock has 120 mains and 40 or 42 pilots. Mine had 42s. You could pull the float bowl and look at the main and pilot jets to see what size is installed. May need a mirror for the pilot.

I would never buy anything from them but there is a good pic of what you are looking for and can be had locally.

Thanks Gregger for jogging my memory. My '04 America was set up this way: long TORs, K&N filter, intact air box with snorkel removed and bellmouth, Thruxton needles, 42 pilots and 125 mains. I always meant to try 130s but the bike ran very well and I never did.
I've always had good luck with Mike at Bellacorse and he has a great jet policy when it comes to returns and replacements.

Well, jets purchased at newbonneville.com

I've bought a pair of each (130, 132, 135, 138, 140) to start playing with different settings.

My final tunning stage should be:
Snorkel-less
Airbox drill
Long TORs
UNI filter (bellmouth?)
Iridium plugs
Rejetting with 1 or 2 stock needles.

Any suggestion?

Do you think 130 main jet is a good square 1 to start? Would I run a bit rich with 130's main?

Thanks!!!

Lot of fun is yet to come...

Dang, I wish that I would have seen this post sooner. I would have recommended that you ordered from Bellacorse mainly because they sell actual Keihin jets and not the Factory Pro "equivalants" like Newbonneville. I prefer and recommend sticking with actual Keihin jets and not aftermarket equivalants like Factory Pro or EBC that may be slightly different.

When I purchased mine....got to be at least 5 years ago, I don't remember seeing the term "factory equivalent" on Newbonnys website. The jets I purchased worked well for me with no issues.

I'd start with 130s. One way to get a "seat of the pants" check on weather the jets are too small or large is to place the bike in 4th or 5th, find a long stretch (preferably with no police) wind the bike up to over 5 grand and then while accelerating, slightly back off on the throttle. Note whether the bike seems to pick up speed or bog slightly. If it picks up, your mains are a bit small and you are lean. The opposite is true.

Aftermarket jets, whether they be RD, AB, or EBC - or something else - do not flow the same as OEM Keihin...they are close, but not the same...that may or may not be important to the user.

Dyno Jet, however, are waayyyy different than OEM Keihin.

Thank you gays!

I'll have to stick with the Factory Pro jets from newbonneville site.

Hope won't have any issues.

Cheers!

Hey now...

Glad that wasn't directed at me since I advised to get them locally or from Mike.

Well, doesn't matter @B02S4! It's good to know where to find original jets. I suppose if both jets are same branded they should be pretty the same aren't they?

I'll be upgrading this thread to let you know.

BTW, at newbonneville site, they've charged me as if the jets were shipped to Mars instead of Spain. At Bellacorse, shipping cost was 0...

I've learned the lesson for next time!

Thanks for the tip, anyway! I'll keep it in mind!
