I am about to do the following mods to my 07 TBA.

Long TORs
AI removal
Drill arbox, remove snokel
and rejet the mains with 130s (as per Pat's calculations)

I know that I will be pretty close to dialed in but, will want to check the plugs following the changes. Question is should I take out my old plugs and clean them then recheck from time time or just start out with the new plugs?

Plugs are pretty cheap. And you can start out fresh to see the color. And I 'spose you know about reading the color.

It's funny as I was writing the original post I realized that new plugs are all of about $6. Not a lot to spend to get the real truth as to how the bike is running.

if the plugs are yellowish, you need to lower the cholesterol

I was always told that they should be the color of your Grandma's underwear.
