The 2014 Softail Slim
Seat height, laden 23.5 inches
103ci matched with a six speed gearbox.

I rented this bike, last week, and did a two day tour through New Hampshire's White Mountains.. and here is my review..

You would have no idea the bike was running, if it weren't moving forward. There is no vibration at any speed. And, with the stock pipes, there is barely an audible growl.
The engine's sweet spot is right around 3300 RPM; you feel like you could tow a boat. Since the seat height is so low, however, you're really sitting on the frame.. you'll cook your legs at red lights. It's not a very nimble bike. You really need to muscle it through turns. And, when you do, the underside of the floorboards remind you just how low she's slung.

Dress her up with after market pipes, and a swing-arm solo bag and you have a great bike.. albeit $16,000 (MSRP) lighter
