I just bought a 2000 Adventurer and looked around and found only the RAT forum. Ok, I can go there, after all I've been a member of the RAT forum for ten years even though I almost never post over there. When I looked for their classified section I discovered that I'm not allowed. I haven't posted enough to "earn" the right to buy the stuff they are selling, including any bike I might have bought but didn't because I didn't even think they HAD a classified section until I made a concerted search for it. No wonder I don't go there much.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Gawd, those guys are dumb. I always hated cliquey types, be it jocks in the hallway or Hardly riders on the street. That's what I love about this site. Good people who just plain love machines, with a preference, but ONLY a preference for British. One more post of many that tells me not to waste time on that "other" site.
