Well that's certainly no "cruiser/bagger" there.
Nope, that would be a Sport-Touring rig there.
I think the last time the boys in Munich tried that, the R1200C and it's touring derivative the "CL" didn't exactly set any sales records, as the BMW Faithful pretty much turned up their collective noses at any Beamer which dared look like a "Cruiser".
(...you know, kind of like how most of the Harley Faithful will turn up THEIR collective noses at anything that DOESN'T resemble a "Cruiser")
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I always thought the R1200C was a cool-looking bike. But then again, I ride a Vision.

With you on that! Just saw one recently, and I like the design.
With you on the Vision too...you got a cool looking bike!

Funny how different folks like different things. Howard Johnson Ice Cream had 23 flavors etc.
I have never seen a BMW ever to suit my taste. At 5'8" they are too tall and all somehow remind me of C3PO.

You are right, I have not a single complaint about C3PO. That was out of line.

ACTUALLY gentlemen, the headlights on some of the newer Beamers resemble more the character of Bender on the TV program "Futurama" than they EVER do C3PO! (...so PLEASE get your robot analogies correct here if ya would!)

I'll have to take the opposing view on that issue. But, to each his own.
Don't own one. Never have and probably never will. But I put them in the same category as fine British and Italian automobiles. Not at all practical for me, but I'm glad they're out there so I can dream.
