Just picked up one of these at Guitar Center http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-USA-N...478-i2707424.gc This is probably the sweetest guitar I've ever owned,and I've owned many. If you've ever wanted a Made in America Strat this fits the bill nicely at a great price.I'm almost tempted to buy another and put it away for 10 or 20 years and then sell it and make a bazillion dollars!

They used to call those the Highway One series, I think. I had a Tele. I never liked the 70's headstock those have.

Pretty cool... Always been a Gibson guy myself and have recently purchased a new SGJ. Bare bones finish and machines but a sweet pair of pickups. A great combo with my Delta Blues amp... the sustain is unreal.I was also very impressed with the quality, fit and finish on my first ever new Gibson and all at a very reasonable price.
