I just picked up a Cranberry Red 2012 Speedmaster! It is pretty sweet but needs some hard saddle bags. I would like to benefit from the collective genius of the forum, as I am no longer familiar with all of the options available.
I am looking for some bags that match the lines of the bike (rear fender...) and can be painted to match the Cranberry Red (need to get the color code...). They need to be waterproof, lockable, and paintable. I'm Not worried about quick-release as they will be a permanent fixture (except during maintenance actions). Size... well ... that is not as important as them matching/accentuating the lines, but should hold more than a dead cat and a can of chain lube.
Any suggestions/pointers would be greatly appreciated.
