I have a 2003 America with 40,000 miles that is due for its second chain and sprocket replacement....thinking of just doing the chain this summer....can anyone suggest a place to buy a chain?

http://fasteddysports.com/, or your dealer, or at ANY motorcycle dealer. It's just standard 525 chain. You'll need 112 links.

You are going to replace at least the front sprocket when you rivet on the new chain?

if ya do the chain its a good idea to do the sprokets as well.

As a Dinosaur,I'm really impressed with the X ring chain on our bikes.I've never owned a bike that DOESN'T need adjusting as the America with X-link.I've had standard, and o ring chains before but the X is the best.
+ another 1 on doing chain and sprockets together.
