had a few minutes today at lunch reading some stuff on tuning and came across and article (not the first time) about using the carbtune tool to set the air/fuel mixture on the pilot as well as the sync. Esentially it says to set the rpm up on both carbs (for us one screw) until you are about 1500 rpm and then go about setting each fuel mixture until the highest vaccum reading for each carb is realized, then go ablout setting the sync so that they are even. Makes sense but i wonder if there would be enough draw turning the pilot screw to actually notice a large difference on the gauge, also, what if the amount of turns end up being different? say 2 turnout on one versus 1.75 on the other in order for either to reach their highest rpm setting? Iam thinking that this could in fact be possible all things considered, then set the slides to to be even and done..... anyone try this? results? LOL maybe this is something everyone else knows and i am just way behind here.
