OP BABRAT Member Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 97 County Durham UK	To prevent the engine cutting out on tick over I have to adjust the idle speed up to around 2000RPM. I have had the bike in to the main dealers to check everything over, but they are also unsure of what the problem is! I have short TORS fitted, with the appropriate MAP. AI's are still inplace. All was fine for several years. Any ideas? Think what you say .....before you say what you think!!! If in doubt...say nowt!!

foglefar Oil Expert Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 2,419 Brisbane, Australia	A few possibilities to check ... Fuel filter ever been replaced ? Leak in intake rubbers? Air filter clogged? Faulty O2 sensor putting too much air into your mix (AI only operates on closed throttle). MAP sensor hoses leaking? Last edited by foglefar; 05/23/2014 6:29 PM. Fuel and air filter replaced recently, but will check the other possibilities Think what you say .....before you say what you think!!! If in doubt...say nowt!!
