Wally World and the various malls seem to be the collection points for idiots. Last night I was at a local Wally with my wife, wandering around waiting for her to finish shopping. Down the aisle came a skinny lil 15 year old boy riding one of the stores electric wheel chairs around the aisles aimlessly , long legs dangling off the platform. I looked at him pretty hard, thinking, "maybe his handicap isn't that noticable". I couldn't SEE any physical handicap, but ya can't be sure. So as he glided past me I glared at him. He looked at me nonchalontlaly, and glided past. A little later, I was still browsing the store and I saw him cruising towards the exit. So I followed at a distance, saw him get off the cart and walk out side. I stood there for a couple of minutes and watched him walk clear across the big parking lot and out to the street. Boy, I wanted to go outside and tell him off. My partially handicapped wife uses the electric carts at these stores, and I figure this idiot just denied someone else the opportunity to use it. I wonder what store policy is? Would an "associated" ever step up and question this kind of behavior?

OH, and btw, Rich. Somethin' ELSE has just dawned on me here about that kid you saw... Ever consider the possibility that this skinny little twerp was just practicin' for his later years....and when he's grown to 300lb PLUS and can't move around all that well anymore? (...and when he'll be just like MOST of the shoppers one sees at Walmart!!!)

That's almost as bad as someone spitting tobacco juice on the ground where others walk.

Not a lot ya can do in these situations. Same with people parking in handicap spots. I usually make a point of saying "it must be a mental handicap" just loud enough for these idiots to hear. Gets me the odd dirty look but rarely solves the problem.
