At least 5 days a week. I'm a daily commuter. And throw in a few multi-thousand mile trips a year. Man, I love riding!

I'm considering bringing mine into the city this season. I'm not too keen on NYC traffic in my car yet alone on my bike.

If it isn't raining I ride to work, plus ride for pleasure and errands (as much as possible) on the weekends.

I ride mainly to commute. Usually 3-4 days a week, plus I have to do client home visits at work. It's nice to take the long way there, or "get lost" trying to find a house. I hardly ever start the bike up on the weekends; just too much to do.

Normally ride 6 days a week, commute every day, then grocery shopping on the weekends. I can normally squeeze in about 300+ a week.

I ride to work from March through October here. I get in a few rides in November, December, January, and February between snow storms. I don't think I would want to ride into NYC though. I roll my bike into my studio to park it. This keeps it safe, warm and secure.

Every day, weather permitting. My bike has become my primary transportation, only put about 2,000 miles on my pickup last year.

Mark I've ridden thru the city, but it was on a saturday. I wouldn't want to sit in the stop n go to get there tho!! Plus parking... ew!
The reason I can't commute is because I have a company car filled with tools n parts!

Lately, I only ride for fun. Weekends and the occasional errend. Mostly because I can get a subsidized monthly train pass for less than the cost of 1 day of parking at work. I sometimes get to spend a day at one of the other facilities, and I usually ride then.

In the summer I commute to work on nice days. Ride on the weekends. However, New England winters stink and I only rode 5 or 6 times this winter.

Im with Fishercat. But my ride to work is 45 minutes on RT495 a freaking nightmare in a car nevermind on a bike. But I will feel the pull and drive her in a few times. Otherwise its only weekends.

I work one week on, one week off. 500-600 miles on my week off. Can't fit a week's worth of provisions for my week on, so no driving then. Looks like I'm going to lose the summer this year, as I'm scheduled to work 3 months in the middle east.

Every chance I get. I only live about 6 miles from work, so the daily commute take me about an hour. I like to go the long way. The only time I don't ride is when there is too much snow on the roads. I always get at least a couple of days each month in the dead of winter. In the warmer school season, my oldest daughter insists on me picking her up on the bike too. "Park right by the door Daddy, and ride away really fast and make lots of noise." Gotta love her.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

I rode over 6,000 miles on the TBA last year. That was mostly weekend runs, I do ride to work most of the time, but I mix the rides between the '97 Trophy 900, and the TBA. The Trophy is my cold weather, and/or sport bike riding spree. The TBA, I use mostly when I'm riding with the OL (AmyLee) and group rides. Bob

I gave up my monthly $110 subsidy and pay $6 for a motorcycle parking pass. So I guess I'm paying 116 a month to ride. But it's worth it not to have to ride the metro for 45 minutes each way, and to have the bike in the garage for a 20 minute blast home!

I commute on my 2k5 SM plus try to catch an "errand ride" on the weekends.
Speaking of commuting, Last night I worked late and the commute home at midnight was GREAT!!!!! It was in the mid-70's hardly anyone else on the road...man, despite the hour and my need to wake-up early I took the LOOONNNG way home. A 30 minute commute turned into an hour.

Hey Kev, someone else who's discovered the joys of the ride at midnight! I only live a 1/2 miles from work, but at midmight I can make it 10-15 miles or so to get home.
Mine is my only form of travel. Normally when I finish work there's no buses and Walking home is not an option...
So to answer the question....every day!

Every chance I get. Two very young children and a wife who does not ride presents it challenges. On a nice, or even not so nice weekday, I will take the 3 year old to daycare in the cage, return home, and ride to work.

Bought the SM in Sept of '04 and now have 17,000 miles on it. I can not ride to/for work very often as I have to sometimes carry a laptop, catalogs, etc. Now with daylight savings time I expect to ride at least 4+ times a week.
Only 18 days till the Georgia Rally!

I've riden almost every day I've been in town (I travel for work a bit) since I bought the bike in June '05. It sorta works out like that when you don't have a car...
At least the wet and freezing days are at a minimum in the desert!

I'm one of many. There's a thread about other interests and it's crazy how many are here. It's not hard to believe -what can you say bad about guitars and Triumphs?

That's a really long list of very nice toys. Well done! You shouldn't have any trouble turning a few of those into a Bonnie.
If you could only keep one acoustic and one electric, which would you keep?

Yeah both Les Pauls are great (Especially the Heritage), I put Lindy Fralin 'buckers in both of them, but I've found that I graduated from Les Paul to the Tele. And my semihollow 3 pickup sure does the trick.

Whenever I can, weather permitting. Here in the NW it stays pretty soggy for a good part of the year though.
