Hi Guys, Its been a while I know but now we`ve got some figures for you to digest. We have presented the results from our 900 Speedmaster project together for direct comparison in the following order. 1. Standard bike. 2. Standard bike with only our pipes. 3. Standard bike with pipes and cams. 4. Reworked cylinder head, our cams and pipes. 5. Reworked cylinder head, our cams, pipes and Keihin CR`s. We have had some fun with this for sure and riding the bike now is an absolute hoot, and increase of 57% peak bhp. If we can get the same from the Scrambler that will be an increase of over 80% as it starts off with 45bhp instead of the Speedmasters 52bhp - yes its true..... Torque is improved by a medium to massive amount depending on which rpm you look at. As soon as we can upload the torque figures it will be done :-) Thanks for your patience guys. And for all you 270 - 800 guys and 360 owners out there -watch this space work has begun....

Wow! Congrats to your numbers! Two questions for you, if I may, what kind of jetting did you use on your CRS carbs? Also, how is your development proceeding for the Higher-RPM ignitor? Thanks for your continued R&D!

You da man! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the triumph brand. You will be blessed with massive input of funds to your bank accounts when this is all done...
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Hi Fellas, Thanks for the kind words, our dyno computer hiccup has been dealt with and we now have our all important torque curves uploaded to our website. The dip on the highest output curve was in fact my fault for cracking the throttle too quickly with the Kehin CR`s, An extremely limited time frame did not allow for further runs to correct this. Yet another late Friday night..... When we get the bike back we will do some more. Incidentally our NZ dollar is taking a beating from worlwide currencies at the moment and might just be moving somewhat to your advantage just now.

Hi, The mains were 130`s and the rest is as supplied by Keihin, needles might benefit from being raised a notch though.
Component issues are the hold up with our ignitor development at the moment, next couple of weeks or so should see some progress though.
Thanks for your interest!

Hi Frank, The re-worked head is a tried and tested Thunderbike development which restructures the internal port routing, shapes and dimensions, flows them in the appropriate manner and then finally the valves are refaced, the seats cut to a 3 angle profile of our choice and the compression increased by machining of the gasket surface to our specification.
And yes it perfectly ok to ask, thanks for your question.

Could be some time yet though, there`s plenty more to do for sure.
Thanks for your support though we appreciate it.

Hi Frank, At the moment we need your head which can be turned around and back to you in around 2-3weeks max, probably nearer 2 though. We are making moves to obtain heads to allow us to operate an exchange head system.
More details to follow as they become finalised.
Thanks for your question.
