O.K. I decided to order a used set of aluminum wheels to replace the spked wheels. The rear wheel is off a 2012 model and the front is off a 09 model. I thought everything would swap over, thatis what the Triumph dealer thought as well. I looked at the part number for the rear sprocket assembly and cush drive and they are different numbers. The speedmasters that have aluminum wheels have the same part numbers as the America with spoked wheels. But the Americas with aluminumwheels have different part numbers than the Americas with spoked wheels for the sprocket assembly and cush drive. Has anyone done this and did they have any problems with the sprocket assembly and cush drive not fitting? Thanks.

Triumph went to different wheels around 2010 or 11. You should attempt to find someone to do a straight trade with, on the classifieds here, in lieu of spending a small fortune at the stealership. Ebay has perfectly good wheels all the time as well, and sometimes with usable tires mounted on them. Just sayin.

Thanks. I did order the used wheels from ebay. It was about 350 for the front and rear combined after shipping. I will have some spoked wheels for sale soon. I am just hoping I canuse the sprocket carrier assembly and cush drive. I jope somebody out there has done this and could let me know if it worked with all the 03 parts. Thanks.

I once bought alloy wheels from an '07 I believe and put them on my '03 TBA. It was a perfect swap.

I'm pretty sure these will fit your model. I installed them on my 03 years ago. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Triumph-America-E...77e&vxp=mtr Since the 03 used spoke rims, the cast rims will not show as a direct match but they are. Make sure your VIN is under the one listed or contact the dealer to see if the rear is a 15 inch and the front an 18 inch. If so, they will fit. $600 bucks for these is a steal.

Thanks. I saw those but had to settle for a set of aluminum ones, about half the price. They are in good condition. I will let you know how it goes once I try to put them on. Its sounds like it will. the rear is a 15 and the front is a 18. Thanks.

Hey. Just got the bike back Friday. Everything fit like a charm. There were absolutely no issues. Looks and drives great. Now I have a set of spoke wheels for sale. The rear wheel came off of a 2012 America and the front wheel came off a 07 America. Mine is an 03 America.
