Sent $26 to Spacerjim.com on a Friday and when I began to get a little nervous by Monday (had not heard anything), it turns out he had already shipped them. Got the spacers yesterday and put them on this AM. They raise the handlebar a full inch. Here is how I did it:

Before beginning work, put a large cover over your tank to keep from scratch it!

1. loosen M14 nuts under upper triple tree with deep socket
2. loosen socket head bolts that retain upper caps on risers but don't remove them as you may need to hang onto to the bars when removing the bottom nuts.
3. Finish removing bottom M14 nuts; mine were hard to remove. Leave the bolts in place for now.
4. remove the already loosened socket head screws from the upper caps on the risers and set the bars down on the large cover you put on the tank.
5. Pull off the risers and remove the OEM bolts; the bolt head is held captive by a hex shaped recess in the riser. Install the new bolts provided in the kit. The nuts have nylon inserts to provide mechanical lock. I also used some blue Loctite. You will have to pull up on the riser to keep the bolt head seated in the recess. Snug but don't tighten the nuts.
6. Install bars. Find the correct angle and then use some blue Loctite on the four socket head bolts and tighten them down.
7. Tighten the M14 nuts on the bottom of the upper tree using the deep M14 socket.
8. At this point, you can sit on the bike and check the bars for the angle that is comfy for you; don't forget to snug up the upper clamp socket head bolts if you adjust any.

If you're going to get two inch spacers, you should just get some Speedmaster risers.

If you are willing to ream out your top tree to 1/2" or buy the available 1/2" to 10mm adapter bolts, you can use practically any set of risers that fit Hardley Davidson s. 3 1/2" center to center risers appear to be a industry standard for the fixed bolt spacing types and the stand alone ones, spacing is set by your tree. There must be 50,000 variations out there, but I must confess, I never counted them. So there are options to spacers, setback, bar height and finishes.
