I don't much care for the look (or price) of the current offering of metal rear fender bibs. My rear fender had marks from almost 10 years of rear seat pressure that I couldn't rub out. I ordered a leather fender bib from mustangseats.com and it carries their P/n 78030. It was made for a Sportster Xl 1982-2003. I bought the plain bib but they also offer a studded bib. It cost $33 plus shipping. The bib is 5.5" wide and 15" long and has two holes. One is a slot where it fits under the driver seat retaining bolt and the other is a hole where the rear seat retaining bolt goes (M6). The slot allows about 1/8" adjustment front to back with the bolt through it and the bib fits like it was custom made for my bike. I think it looks sweet!

Ordered one. Now that I'm turning the BA into single mode. Pics will come.
