Is it recommended or required to re-jet after removing the Air Injection system? Stock pipes, stock air filter currently. thanks!

No need to re-jet for SAI delete. Just make sure all holes are plugged.

Ok, cool. That's what I figured. I had done the removal and all was fine for quite a while - no issues. Bike is having other issues right now (probably CDI - will be going with Procom) and it was suggested that part of the problem could be needed re-jet after AI delete. Also, someone said AI should have gotten rid of ALL popping on decel. I experienced noticeable reduction, but not 100%. I want to get her running right again, then will be considering K & N filter and re-jet, then maybe a partial de-baffle. Only want to change one variable at a time if possible.
Thanks!

What year is your bike? If it is a carbed unit, unplugging the Throttle Position sensor on the right carb will pretty much get rid of the popping on deceleration. The connector to the TPS is a pain to disconnect.

05. The popping does not bother me. Any other reason to disconnect the Tps?

I found absolutely no difference with the TPS disconnected so reconnected it. But I had already done K&N air filter, Air Injection removal and put in a Dyna Jet Stage 1 kit with short TORs. I now only occasionally get a slight pop. One thing I found though was that after doing everything it was still popping and farting a bit much, so after a bit of inspection found two oh so small air leaks on each pipe where the mufflers connect. Fixing that made a big difference, am very happy with it now. And those leaks really weren't much.
