The 2014 Euro-Rally will take place from Friday 25th July to Monday 28th July, 2014 in the village/town of Cartisoara, east and slightly south of Sibiu and just north of the mouth of the Tranfagaras Pass , Romania. For all intents and purposes we will call it the Transfagaras rally (it means something special). Edit: And a picture I took last August from the south end of the pass.  Accommodation has been arranged and confirmed at the Casa Duse establishment in Cartisoara. There are 3 types to be considered, rooms in main building (small but decent ... tested by yours truly), bungalows and camping ... all in adjoining, purpose designated areas (pretty similar to last year's UK grounds). I have provisionally booked and paid for several rooms, bungalows and camping spaces. There is an outside eating (see picture) area and the food is pretty good. There is also a covered section just beyond the bungalow area and before the camping section where we can party and barbecue etc. Casa Duse - Cartisoara, Romania. Costs involved, food and beverages only. Unfortunately I only managed a few pics on my camera. I took several on my mobile phone showing many more details (including room and cabin interiors), but it decided to reset itself and I lost them all.   Bungalows in the distance and camping area beyond them.   Let the games begin ... Miss Aura is expecting us.

I'm in as well - I would like a double bed (too tall for a single as I found out last year) so please book me whatever comes with a double bed.
