Looks like Honda stuck two wheels on a snowmobile.

Oh Gawd. Didn't Honda learn their lesson with the Valykrie Rune?

OH BOY! Start saving my cash... honey, I NEED a VULTUS... what is it? I dunno... I think it is a lawn mower or jet ski. But I need one.
ATTN: Marketing: This year, please design a motorcycle I might consider buying. The CB1100 is a start but TOO EXPENSIVE for an air cooled bike (or oil cooled/whatever) and I don't want an 1100c four cylinder.

They said it was designed by 20 and 30 year olds inspired by Akira.

Looks like a scooterized (smaller) version of the Honda Rune. Both are yuck!

its a strange lookin think but it does have some features that appeal to the younger things out there. bikes aren't all about cooling fins and spoked wheels. I dont see me on a vultus but my kid thinks its cool looking.

I've come to the conclusion that Honda has a plan to revise what we have come to think of typical classifications, i.e. cruisers, touring, standards, and yes - even scooters by blending styling cues from each type or style. We (I include myself) may find several of these examples odd and ugly, but, Honda has revolutionized motorcycling on a number of times in the past. Accepting they are capable of doing it again, I'll wait and see. There will either be a new revolution - or - many cheaply priced leftovers in the upcoming years.

Well said, Barry! Ya know, of all of Honda's new "Plastic Fantastic" models, I gotta say I think their new CTX1300 is pretty darn nice lookin'!
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Agreed. I sat on one yesterday and I think this one is a winner. The seat is comfy, including a spacious pillion section. The bags are roomy enough for my purposes. The v-4 should provide ample torque and it sounds beemer smooth. The only down I found was the peg position which I personally found to be too far forward to be standard (which would be my preference for such a bike) and too far back to be considered forward. I also found the handle bars from the comfort perspective to be quite nice while finding them from the appearance perspective to be nothing short of butt ugly. All in all, it should be a likely candidate for anyone looking for a comfortable, smooth ride with Honda reliability built in. However, the price of this ride places it into the spot when some other nice bikes of equal purpose and established reputation reside.
