Hello all. It's been a long, long time since I've been on here. I need some assistance please. Come to the point where it's time for the Bonnie to go. Haven't ridden it more than maybe 250 miles in the past three years. It's a 2003 America. Totally original, right down to the blue pipes. It has 9300 miles on it. New front tire last year, original rear. Never been dropped and rarely been in the rain. Red. No scratches, no dings or dents. It's in excellent condition as it's lived in the garage under a cover it's whole life. Reasons for selling. 1st, I just never can be bothered to ride it. 2nd, fear. Yes I said it. Fear. I was in a bad car wreck last year. Stationary at a stop sign and I got wiped out by an out of control Mustang and it made me realize, had I been on the bike I would have been killed. So the question is. What do you think its worth?

There's an 04 with 17k in the classifieds for 4500.00. Maybe somewhere around 4 k would be fair I think. ???

I am gonna give it a low 3200-3600 number. Lots of folks won't pay over NADA values for a vehicle.

I bought my 2003 with around 5,000 miles last year from a dealer (Motohio). I paid around 4200. It had saddlebags, windscreen, backrest, tach and floor boards.

No matter how Cynical I become, I can never keep up.

original rear tire on an 11 year old bike? that will have to be replaced for sure. But the prices above seem reasonable given your desription of the bike.

Most likely a Bridgestone = not good when new

It's not speeding till you get pulled over.

Hi Mark. Great hearin' from ya.

The Kelley Blue Book value I found for your bike and categorized in "excellent condition" showed that its retail market value is presently $3700.00.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Book value reflects average RETAIL for NADA and trade-in or HIGH retail for KBB. After looking around a LOT in the past few weeks, I have found that neither sellers or dealers pay any attention to book value. I checked on a 2001 Thunderbird for sale in Houston and the dealer selling said that book meant nothing as they sold every one for twice book.

A 2003 BA is going from $3500-4200 in most of the country if in good shape and low mileage. The color matters; some colors bring more than others such as green and red bring more than black of blue from my very subjective search of the market. The BA seems to bring a bit more than the Speedmaster. I am not justifying what I am saying just saying that is what I saw.

3800 you give someone a good deal, 4200 its you that are getting the good deal, anywhere in between and everybody wins.
