I made a sweet little 150 plus mile loop ride to Coulterville from Chowchilla, that included the little dragon on the Highway 49. http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/117/California/The-Golden-49.html With lunch at Happy Burger in Mariposa, had a great day.

That looks like a nice ride. That's a neat website too. I started poking around and found a few new roads nearby I'll need to try.

They have reviews of my favorite ride as well. Lolo Pass.

So happy to hear you are riding, we aren't but that said great web site. I'll add some territory up this way that every local knows is the best road in the region.

I lived in the Angels Camp area for 5 years. Hwy 49 is awesome. I used to go up to El Dorado/ Placerville for work, the goal was to make it in a hour or less. Mokulemne Hill was always the challenge to speed (and fallen rock in the road)
Great area to ride.
