Awsome i have been waiting and hopeing for this for far to long. I don't remember what yr it was that Jason came in second but I was thinking maybe this would be his yr to be first. Don't really care who won just the fact that Triumph was on the tank is all that matters to me. Wish I could have been there. Sad though that we are not gonna get chance for repeat with them going to super bike for 200 but I guess it's good we can go out on top. And if Jason can do good at Bonneville this yr well what more can we hope or ask for.

Watched that whole race. That dude was untouchable. And awesome. Kept waving to his friends, slapping the bike like a horse, and flipped off a lapped for not moving over. Dudes my hero now.

The race is the big bikes next year, not the middleweights like this year. It will be interesting to see what Triumph fields for that.

Sad to see them going to the liter bikes next year. Triumph goes out with a bang! Sadly according to everyone I ask Triumph has no plans to enter the super competitive liter bike arena. The Japs are OK with triumph beating their 600's a few times...but they concentrate their R&D and $$$ on teh liter bikes. Triumph has nothing that can compete. The 1050 can only muster about 150hp and the 1200's stroke is too long to get the necessary revs. Liter bike's just arent Triumph's game.
