I have never had a bike with cruise control but will be taking much longer trips this summer than I have in the past. Does anyone have any experience using cruise controls on our bikes? If so is there one that is better than others?

'06 America, Raask foot controls, the bike use to be Graphite and Silver, now its Red and Black.

The Go Cruise is about as simple as it can get.

Do they make one for 1" bars like ours? I would still go with the BreakAway for me, just wondered if that one was only for 7/8" bars.

Fasteddy sells them. He had one on his bike at the rally last year, seemed to work well. The price isn't too shabby either.

An o-ring placed between the grip and the master cylinder assembly adds enough friction to work just fine as a cruise control.

That Go Cruise is easy and works pretty good. Great for when you just need to stretch you hand or arm.

I have been using the go cruise for a while now and i like the thing, its easy to use, rolls off very easy if you need it too, moves from time to time but no biggy putting it back and its cheap cheap cheap.
