Friggin' air conditioner quit yesterday. It's only a twenty three year old central air heat pump unit.  I know it's the middle of winter, temp's are only mid eighties, and EVEN with the heat index, it's STILL under ninety. But I WISH it was WORKING!

I have better than a foot of snow outside and it has been below zero out most days, wanna trade?

we are having a veritable heat wave here today and its 7 below. so no sympathy on the AC problem.
FWIW I have about 4 feet of snow in my yard and its not going away.

I'll ask one of our techs to head your way although it may take a while to defrost their gauges so don't hold your breath.
It may be less expensive to move north then the cost of the new high efficiency unit with 410A.

Well, now there's a bigger problem.  Temp's will only go up to 70 today AND probably tomorrow.  It's a heat pump, which means NO HEAT EITHER!!  NOW I'M GONNA FREEZE!! Just can't seem to get a break!
