SeaHawk Defense was incredible. In the NFL's wisdom to insure high scoring games next year, in the off season they'll have rule changes. Maybe defencive player not using their hands or wearing lead shoes. Can't have old school football games with low scores.
I am disappointed in the Broncos, expected a better game.

2 - love The look on Manning's face as the hiked ball passed by the right side of his face into the endzone was priceless. Brilliant way to start the game.

I watched the slow version of that safety a few dozen times. Who on earth would ever want to center for Manning. He breaks the play and changes stuff at least once per set of downs.
If you look at it slowly Manning was ready, the center anticipated the snap call and Manning stands up and walks left. A totally intimidated and distracted QB error IMHO.
If you are breaking the call stand up and stand still until its reset. He did a horrible job. Only matched by the defense that should have not gotten off the bus.
Not to diminish the Seahawks but they really didn't win as much as the Broncos lost the game.

Nope, sorry, Ron. Besides the fact that the Broncos offensive line was out-played especially and consequently not allowing Manning the time he needed to find and connect with his receivers(the Broncos' primary strength), Seattle out-hit and out-tackled the Broncos throughout the game on both sides of the line-of-scrimmage.
(...and thus, the Seahawks actually WON the game outright, and so it wasn't so much the idea that "for just a few mistakes here and there the Broncos gave the game away and lost it")

I think Dwight is correct. Once a defense's team gets ahead all bets are off, it's bring it time. They are able to play with abandon.
The Broncos took the gas no doubt, they got sucker punched by the SeaHawk D and never recovered.

Just mental math, this is in the top 5 blowouts of the last 30 years of Super Bowl. Its not just only scoring less than 10 points. Its allowing yourself to be scored on for over 40 points. That is rare in Super Bowl games.
I don't care about either one. Games like that are just a disappointment.
