With the conservation class I am taking on Thursday evenings, I am already going to miss a practice and three games.

I never made any of my kids softball or soccer games. Missed every dance and band recital. All the cost of doing my job. And my kids hate me just as much as their mother who made it to all that crap. So I say....... father of the year is over-rated. Get your arse out to the rally!!

for all those riding out from Lodi to Westby it looks like Wild Cat mountain is off the route due to road destruction.
it still will be a nice ride thru the hills from Devils lake if we take hwy 33 to 82 (just west of Hillsboro) and then over to 27.

sound okay to you Barry? And where are we to meet up with you in Lodi?

I have an alternate route all planned out. That area is like my backyard. No worries!! There is a Kwik Trip smack dab in the middle of Lodi. If you want to meet there, it will only be about a 5 minute ride to our lunch stop.

Actually........ 33 through Wildcat will be open. I just checked the DOT map. The closure is From Ontario west to Cashton. My Original route should still work!!

Barry, Micah, are you guys opposed to meeting up in mt horeb or somewhere? I'm thinking of taking a different route with the Chicago contingent, and meeting up with you guys at lunch. What are your thoughts? What is a good time to meet up?

Yeah, I was going to lead a group out of Chicago and meet up with you guys in Mt. Horeb or somewhere, but I found out last night that most of the Chicago guys are coming on Friday. So right now I'm still planning to head north and meet up with you at your house. Rick will be with me, and we can meet up with Rich in Lake Geneva.

So are we meeting up in Sauk City or Lodi??? Either way, we can still go through Devils Lake State Park.

Latest AccuBarry Rally forecast for the Greater Westby Metropolitan area is as follows:

Thursday: It will be partly to mostly cloudy. High temps will be in the upper 70's. Winds will be from the SE at 10-15 mph. There will be showers building off to the west and southwest so the Iowa boys may get an en-route bike wash in the late afternoon.

Friday: The day will start off cloudy but as a warmer and more humid air mass moves in from the southwest, wide-spread showers will develop across the area. We can expect some thunderstorms by the afternoon. High temps will be around 83 with winds out of the SSE at 10-20 mph.

Saturday: It will start off cloudy but the skies should clear a bit by afternoon. Temps will be in the mid-80's and it will be a bit more breezy with winds still out of the SSE at 15-25 mph. There will also be some scattered thunderstorms in the area.

Sunday: Looks like it will be a lot like Saturday. Breezy, warm, humid and a chance for more thunderstorms. Those chances will increase towards the evening so no dilly dallying on the way home, kids.
