Actually she doesn't trust the kick stand, because her bike leans to far. I told her leaning is good for carving the twisties. Actually, I have to hustle to keep the Bird from falling behind.

On a serious note. I also have problems with that kick stand. I too feel as though the bike leans more than necessary but my biggest problem is that I have to reach a little too far with my short legs to put the kick stand up. I've been trying to figure out a way to modify it so that I can reach it easier. I had the same problem with the foot controls till I installed Raask foot controls which moved the controls back quite a bit. Now if I could just figure out what to do with the kick stand so that I can reach it without stretching my leg so far.

Have the same problem with the kickstand, esp after installing footboards. Solution was to put the kickstand up before getting on the ride. ( a little awkward at times )

If you change your seat to a lower profile seat like a Corbin or the one fast eddy sells, that would put you lower , more forward and closer to your kick stand and the controls

I have the same problem with the Thunderbird, it doesn't have the little grab arm half way up the kick stand like the TBA has. For now I've installed a small hose clap that I can catch my boot on.
