How much oil pressure (PSI) are you guys with guages finding on the 790 motor?

I'm trying to decide if I want a guage that reads 0-15 PSI, or 0-90 PSI.

I don't have a 790 or for that matter an OPG, however get one that reads at least 80 PSI. Most of the time when underway it should be above 40 PSI.

I run 40psi at idle when cold and about 25 or so hot and about 80psi at full pressure.

Thanks.
As with most things, it's usually best if standard operations are generally in the middle of the reading range.
As with torque ratchets.
Thanks again.

On my '04, with nearly 106K hard miles on her (nearly all at 80 mph, with a 16t front counter sprocket), I'm not getting any oil pressure reading on the gauge at idle, and the Oil Pressure light may flicker brightly unless I keep idle above 1500 rpm (however accurate that stock tach is). Running hard down the freeway at speed, closer to 40 psi. I think it's getting time for a new oil pump.

I run 80PSI when running down the road and 40 at idle cold, that drops to about 25psi at idle once warm.
