Does anyone or has anyone fitted Biltwell Mushman Foot Pegs Triumph to their Speedmaster or America?

Haha this is true. And i agree! But I don't own them....

But I have stock take off street bob rubber ones on mine and I have handled them at born free and know that they are exactly the same mount.

But I'm not 100% certain that my peg mounts are original now that I think of it. If they're not, at most you would have to drill the hole out a little bigger.

I just ordered the Burly Pegs should be here any day. I'll let you know how it goes. Would not any pegs designed for HD's fit with the HD to Metric adapters? Available through Fast Eddy.

Hi Ross,
The answer is YES.
I have been looking for a set of foot pegs to replace my OEM pegs that are being savaged by the boots I wear.
I like to dirt bike look of the Biltwell Mushman Pegs so I thought I would get a set of the Scrambler ones (Biltwell Mushman Foot Pegs Triumph -
Polished SKU: FP-MSH-TR-PS) and see how easy they were to fit.
Rather than machining the supplied Biltwell clevis’s to the correct size
to match my 2006 model Triumph Bonneville America, I decided to hand fit
the clevis to see how easily this modification would be in anybody’s
garage or shed. With about one hours worth of hand filing & measuring the
Biltwell Mushman Foot Pegs now fit like a glove.
Measurements:
The cage the original Triumph foot pegs fit into has an opening (on my
bike anyway) of 21.0mm
The thickness of the Biltwell Clevis is 22.25mm
So with simply a sharp hand file, you only have to remove 1.25mm of clevis
thickness to be able to fit straight into the Triumph foot peg opening.
I used a vernier calliper to keep track of the clevis thickness and the
Triumph spring & foot peg location pin fit perfectly in the Biltwell
Mushman Foot Pegs.
With care, I suppose you could also use an angle grinder, bench grinder or
linishing machine to get the clevis thickness to the required size.

They're currently cheaper to buy at one of our Oz MCAS stores than buying them direct from the US with the current cost of US postage which seems to have gone through the roof lately Ross. Just give the store a ring before hand quoting the model number to make sure they have them in stock.

I have at last fitted the Mushman pegs to my Speedie. Grind and file and they fit.

Short ride and they feel sturdy. They don't bite into my instep like normal pegs do.
