does anyone know if the speedmaster and america possibly use different headlight rings? since crashing my bike i thought i found a replacement but after further examination i noticed both rings will fit into the bucket but on the new one the headlight will go right through the center. the replacement i have also has a hole on the inner front side of the ring and no inside bracket to clip over the actual headlight tabs. if i can find out what this other ring goes to maybe i can just get a different headlight.

thanks.

The earlier Speedys and Americas used the same 7 inch headlight ring and bucket. The more recent models have different sizes. The late model America still uses a 7 inch but the Speedy uses a 5 (I think)

Surely if you needed a bent shock you'd need TWO as you need one on each side?
