I'll be attending the Greater Atlanta British Motorcycle Assn (GABMA) annual "3 State Ride" May 16-18 on my '66 TR6, held in Blowing Rock NC...214 miles thru 3 states and lots of vintage British Iron...This will be my 4th year, and always lots of excitement with this journey from Gainesville, Georgia, up thru Asheville to the Blue Ridge Parkway, on into Blowing Rock...went down (literally) year before last on my 72 Bonny...centerstand came loose, launched me into a curve..very lucky, but survived to ride the next day...
My America has a problem with the starter I guess...spins a couple of times, then just whines, guess I'll be pulling the starter off today....65,000 miles on her now....Needless to say, I voted for May 2-4....

Chy, are you going to do the Dragon again this year since Yota wussed out last year? At least I had an excuse, not enough gas money to get up there and back and get home.

I voted for May 2, the BMOA Rally again this year being the 3rd weekend. Definitely my last year of having any obligations there causing me to miss the Ga. Rally. If people don't start acting right around here they may have already seen my last year missing the Ga. rally. A rally with field events, and no riding!

This past October I stopped by Helen's Country Café, to pick up a couple bottles of their Habo-Penna sauce. Didn't see Sarah.
Made a dutch oven of creole the other night, some local andouille sausage being one source of heat. The Habo-Pena the other.

Dude, I only use mine to make hot chocolate and tea! That french press we have is still hidden somewhere... I hope I can make it but that weekend may not work out for me. I voted for the first weekend in May  We'll see how it plays out though, I'm hopeful.
