I've have my stock pipes that came with the bike and cut them down and removed the baffles. I was thinking of powder coating them but not sure if they'll hold up to the heat, I believe they heat the coating to 400 degrees to get melt, anyone know about how hot the pipes get at operating temps? I've heard that ceramic coating is primarily used but I can do the PC at work. thanks, Craig

get a cheapo infrared temp gauge and find out for yourself how hot they get first hand. Its a handy tool to have anyway.
