I am do for a filter change, currently running the full size K&N pods on the freak set up. I have seen the smaller K&N pods that also fit that i prefer. Any issues with a swap in terms of tune? Engine can only take in what it can take in but i wan not sure.

A smaller surface are will reduce the flow and get dirtier faster, larger surface area will flow almost too "easy" and affect the tuning. If you got it dialed in right, I'd stay with the same size K&N's.
