A co-worker of my Wife's when she lived in Colorado Springs recently moved to the Space Coast. He is a great musician and is primarily into the Blues. Last night we went to Murdock's in Cocoa Village to listen, and he is even better in person. He recently won top honors at a Blues festival South of here. Not sure if it was in Port St. Luce or West Palm. With that he gets to compete in Memphis, TN in January at the National Blues festival. This is a link to one of Big Jim Adam You Tube videos. Enjoy!!!

He's good, he grew up in Montgomery County Kansas one of homes of Laura Ingalls Wilder. On his site there is a 1958 photo of his grandmother standing next to a bike, so obviously he comes fro good stock.

Thanks, I love the blues.

My Wife & I went to Murdock's this last Thursday to listen to Big Jim Adam again. I think we sat and talked with him as much as he played. About half the songs he does are his own compositions (which are extremely good) and the other half are some very old Blues tunes. A lot of the old Blues tunes he talks about the history of the song, which helps put the music into perspective for today. So, listening to him in a way is like going back in time.
