I was thinking about swapping out the rear spoked wheel for a older speedmaster wheel. Pinwall has a bunch of them. Is it as simple as changing the hub from the old wheel to the new one or is it more involved than that?

it's simple, slide the axle out, remove wheel, install new wheel, slide axle back in

make sure you tighten everything up when you're done

Aren't they the same wheel?

if the older Speedmaster wheel had been solid instead of with those little slots, I may have run one on the back with a spoked front wheel

Lot's of rear wheels are sold without the sprocket carrier. I believe the sprocket carriers to be all that triumph grey powdercoat. Just know that the color of the carrier (your sprocket carrier) may differ from the wheel. Of course some sell the wheel and carrier. So then never mind!
