Seen this cool looking jacket on the local auctions sites. Never heard of Richa. A quick search shows they're an european company. Anyone has any feedback on them, quality, fit, etc... Liking this jacket, brown vintage style:

Nice looks. Nice warranty.
I read something about them on one of the scooter forums a while back, but not much feedback. That may be a good thing.

Good looking jacket, but there are no specs on the cow leather (cowhide in the USA ) thickness.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Yep, not much info out there. Was pointed to look at other forums like ADVrider, but not much there either. Seems I read they are pretty popular in Europe, but maybe europeans don't like to spend time on the internet reviewing their purchased products! Would love to help, but I would need to order online and won't be able to know about quality and fit prior as there are no shops carrying it around here. And what's available here is very, very sad... This is just NOT my style, but it's all the rage around here right now...

Not in my book it aint. For $500.00 bills, I would need to (1) try it on and (2) seriously consider this the last jacket purchased for several years to come.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well... Anything that is not rice is at a premium around here! ha ha! Since we have a lot of rainy days in winter, I'm also looking at the Rev'It Rivoli. Looks decent. and "only" $300 !

Does it have any armor inserts? 500 bucks is a ridiculous price unless its an armored jacket with thick leather.

I believe the Richa comes with basic armor in elbows and shoulder.
Don't care so much as I have a set of really nice armor pads that I transfer from jacket to jacket (when it fits!)
